In 2021, AIS designed and engineered a MIDAIS™ unit (Mobile Ice Delivery Automatic ICE™ System) for Dole Fresh. This unit was custom-designed as a seasonal ice storage/feed system for traveling between key produce regions. It can accommodate 30-45 tons of bulk ice surge with automatic ice transfer to downstream conveying and processing. These units can be arranged in multiples for larger volume/tonnage applications. On-site set-up ranges from 1-3 days.
Along with being used as a portable ice storage for box injecting fresh vegetables, MIDAIS is perfect for high-quality concrete icing at concrete/batch plants. The custom-engineed MIDAIS is a versatile turn-key batch plant icing solution.
